ARTIFACT:

This is an almost mint condition World War II jacket patch made in England for the United States Army Air Forces 338th Bomb Squadron, 96th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force. The patch is in royal blue and shows a bomb dropping into a barrel.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

About 5-7/16" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Felt wool patch with silk and cotton embroidery.
