ARTIFACT: This is a minty early 1960s Watkins Motor Lines one year Safety Award belt buckle. Still around today, Watkins Motor Lines officially opened in 1937, although "BW" (the owner) was hauling everything from shelled corn to pecans for some time before then. The buckle shows the continental United States in relief with the recognizable Watkins W logo.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/8" in width and 2-1/16" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass.

ATTACHMENT: Swiveling buckle loop.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 9+ (Near Mint-): The buckle is minty.
