ARTIFACT: This is a near mint circa World War I United States Marine Corps enlisted man "clipped beak" "straight edge" EGA Cap Badge Model 1917. The eagle, globe and anchor has a large washer plate in addition to is backing.
VINTAGE: Circa 1917 (World War I).
SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" in height x 1-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS: Blackened brass.
ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with slightly domed disc backing, washer, stabilization post.
MARKINGS: None.
