ARTIFACT:

This is a circa mid- to late 1940's member jacket patch for the American Motorcycle Association (AMA), which was formed in 192The patch is in a multi-piece felt construction. It is embroidered in red, green and yellow and shows the AMA's tri-color logo, inspired by an ancient Buddhist symbol.

VINTAGE:

Circa mid-late 1940's.

SIZE:

Approximately 4" in height and 4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Multi-piece wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk thread.

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch has some very light wear with a couple of tiny moth nips on the reverse only.
