ARTIFACT: This is a mid 1960's ARVN (Army of the Republic of Vietnam) 8th Parachute Battalion, 84th Combat Support Company shoulder patch made in Bevo weave. In the center of the patch is a Hippocampus, a half-horse and half-fish creature from Greek Mythology with an "8" between the mane and fin. On the top of the patch reads "HEIP HUNG.

VINTAGE: Mid 1960's

SIZE: Appr: 2-1/8" x 2-3/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bevo weave

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Vietnam collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX17 LHEX8/17

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Light fraying, has been removed from a scrapbook, so there is some glue residue on the reverse.
