Mid-1960's ARVN 8Th Parachute BN, 84th Combat Support Co Shoulder Patch in Bevo Weave

This is a mid 1960's ARVN (Army of the Republic of Vietnam) 8th Parachute Battalion, 84th Combat Support Company shoulder patch made in Bevo weave. In the center of the patch is a Hippocampus, a half-horse and half-fish creature from Greek Mythology with an "8" between the mane and fin. On the top of the patch reads "HEIP HUNG.
