This is a paperback first edition copy of "MacArthur in Japan", War Leader Book Number 19 in the Ballantine's Illustrated History of the Violent Century series. Written by Sydney L. Mayer, this volume focuses on Douglas MacArthur, the famed United States Army General who in effect was ruler of Japan during its Occupation Period. The book has several black and white photographs and was published in 1973.
