ARTIFACT:

This is a Lovely 1890's Connecticut Humane Society Member Lapel Badge. The badge reads CONNECTICUT HUMANE SOCIETY and shows a guardian angel and a child standing with a dog and a horse.

VINTAGE:

1890s.

SIZE:

Approximately 15/16" in diameter with a slight scrollwork protrusion.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS:

C. G. BRAXMAR CO. N.Y.
