ARTIFACT: Late WWII US Navy VBF-74 (Fighter-Bomber Squadron 74) Flight Jacket Patch. Patch depicts a swashbuckling Cat reminiscent of 'Puss in Boots' straddling a Corsair Fighter Aircraft. The Squadron's nickname was the Fighting Cavaliers.

VINTAGE: Circa 1944-45.

SIZE:

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: US embroidered on felt.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto flight apparel.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a large collection of Military Aviation Insignia, which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJJX09 LGEJM SEJJX7/09 (as post-war)

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Very minor wear, light soiling from usage: a great 'Been There' example of this patch.
