This is a late 1960's - early 1970's "Fleet Air Norfolk Champions" patch from the United States Naval Base at Norfolk, Virginia. The patch reads IN PROMPTU ESSE (to be clear, ready).
VINTAGE:Circa late 1960's - early 1970's.
SIZE:Approximately 5-3/8" in height and 3-15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Twill embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
