ARTIFACT:

This is a late 1940s Pan American Airways five years of service lapel pin by Balfour in 10 karat gold. The pin is a nicely enameled globe adjacent to one wing bearing a single star.

VINTAGE:

Late 1940s.

SIZE:

Approximately 7/16" in height x 11/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

10K Gold with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS:

LGB (Balfour)
