This is a late 1940s jacket patch for the United States Naval Air Station at Norfolk, Virginia. The patch shows an "Eager Beaver" at its center holding a navy wing overhead like a trophy and reads NAVES SUSTINEMUS.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 4-3/4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Felt embroidered in cotton/polyester threads and partial paper backing.
