Large WWII US Navy Sweetheart Pin with Star

This is a World War II United States Navy sweetheart pin. The pin is an eagle atop an open work series of three chevrons with a five-pointed star at its center.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

Plated white metal.

Two vertical prongs.
