This is a large World War I Colonel's "War Eagle" rank insignia.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I.

SIZE:

About 1-15/16" in width by 3/4" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with a tongue-type "C" catch.
