ARTIFACT: This is a large and unique World War II jacket patch made in the China-Burma-India theatre for the United States 14th Air Force, the successor to the China Air Task Force. The patch shows a right-facing winged "Flying Tiger" beneath a red and white star.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 4-1/2" in height and 4-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton embroidered in cotton/silk threads, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows some light wear and buckling.
