This is a large and unique World War II jacket patch made in the China-Burma-India theatre for the United States 14th Air Force, the successor to the China Air Task Force. The patch shows a right-facing winged "Flying Tiger" beneath a red and white star.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 4-1/2" in height and 4-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton embroidered in cotton/silk threads, mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
