This is an early World War I Hungarian patriotic badge from the city of Székesfehérvár. The badge is exquisitely made in gilt brass. It shows a fully-armored warrior in relief with his sword and detailed shield. He stands at the ready beneath a full-length arc of laurels, and above the dates 1914-1915.
VINTAGE:Circa early World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/16" in height and 1-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:None.
