This is a circa early 1970s jacket patch for the United States Navy Submarine Development Group. The patch shows the Lamp of Knowledge, a lightning bolt and a missile at its center, and two fish standing sentinel at the top.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1970s.
SIZE:Approximately 6" in height and 5" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Twill embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads, mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
