ARTIFACT: This is a Large, Beautiful Old West Hand Engraved Detective Shield Badge. Circa 1880's - 1890's.

VINTAGE: Circa 1880's - 1890's.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/4" in height x 1-13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stamped, engraved, Nickel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old western police and lawman enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ZBJJM20 LEGEX04/19/20 SEGEX10/27/22

CONDITION: 7+(Very Fine+): The badge shows minor to moderate surface wear, nice detai of hand engraved embellishment, overall very fine condition. Obverse: The plated detail is worn out, first image of the badge shows some dark spot, but it does not distract you much.
