Unidentified stunning 1930's Polish Gorget Type Badge for...? The brass, riveted shield features a beautifully detailed eagle, wings spread, head facing the viewer's left and wearing a royal crown. The center of the eagle's chest bears a gorgeous, intricately detailed possible religious figure or saint, likely Mary Magdalene against a background of red and white enamel. The Gorget Type badge is suspended from a brass link chain.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930's.
SIZE:Approximately 3-1/4" x 2-7/8".
