ARTIFACT: This is a 1950's-60's Amsterdam, New York Factory Police Badge for the Bigelow-Sanford Carpet Company. This is a large variant for this kind of badge, made in chrome plated brass.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950's-60's.

SIZE: Approximately 3" in height x 2-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with locking drop-in catch.

MARKINGS: Obverse: "9. BIGELOW-SANFORD POLICE. STATE OF NEW YORK. PAT 2566969."

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Police Badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJZ17 LAAEX03/17 SAAEX11/05/21

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has light wear. Light oxidization and slight stripping on the chrome.
