ARTIFACT:
This is a Korean War member card for the United States Air Force Mosquito Airmen's Club. "Mosquitoes" were forward observers collaborating with T-6 pilots to plot enemy locations, and were nicknamed so by the Koreans because they were always "buzzing" around in their search. The card is bright pink and shows logo at its center of a mosquito who is doing reconnaissance work and has sprouted airplane wings and a tail. The back of the card reads K-^ APO 970 and has blank lines for the member's name and signature, among other information.

Circa Korean War.
SIZE:
Approximately 2-5/8"e; in height and 3-7/8" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Printed paper.
