ARTIFACT: This is a Korean War era United States Navy Task Force 70 firefighter badge. A part of the Battle Force, Task Force 70 is in charge of maintaining aircraft carriers, cruisers, destroyers and other vessels for the 7th Fleet. The badge is numbered 38 and is in chrome-plated nickel.

VINTAGE: Circa Korean War.

SIZE: Approximately 2-7/16" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated nickel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Korean War era USN submarine officer dolphins collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MCEX14 LADEX7/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge has small spots of wear to the reverse only.
