This is a Korean War patch made in the United States for the United Navy's VF-113 "Stingers" Squadron. The patch is shaped like a beehive and shows an angry hornet above the word STINGERS.
VINTAGE:Circa Korean War.
SIZE:5-1/8" height and 4-1/2"width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered patch in red, white, black and gold cotton thread.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Navy patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAJJX08 LCEJX SCJJX4/11
CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): Patch is in great condition with a couple of very minor spots of discoloration.
