IDENTIFIED!! This long unidentified patch has finally been ID'd! It is for the 316th Service Group of the United States Army Air Forces. The patch is beautifully hand painted in multiple shades of blue and gold, along with black, on a leather shield shape, with nicely cut out scroll work at bottom. We do not know currently where the 316th SG was stationed priori to, or during, WWII.
