This is a heavy circa World War II identification bracelet of United States Army European Theatre of Operations (ETO) Staff Sergeant Joseph Greenfield. Greenfield was a Jewish-American veteran from Providence, Rhode Island. He passed away in 201The bracelet is in sterling silver by Winard, and is engraved "From Mother" on reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1/2" in height and 8" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Forked clasp, chain.
MARKINGS:JOSEPH GREENFIELD 32816305 on front of bracelet; WINARD STERLING, "From Mother" engraved on reverse.
