Handsome Early 20th Century Thai Buddha Statue in Gilt Bronze

This is a nice old gilt bronze Buddha statue made in Thailand. Buddha is seated upon an elaborately decorated multi-level platform, wearing rich garb including a magnificent spired hat. The statue dates to the early 2oth century, and has some visible remnants of black, red and green pigments upon its textured surface.

Circa early 20th century.

Approximately 8-1/8" in height and 5-1/16" in width and 2-9/16" in depth.

Gilt bronze, remnants of colored pigments, clay-filled.

Brackets on reverse.

None.
