Description
This is a great Willys Jeep glass candy dish (without contents). The Jeep was designed and produced in record time as the United States anticipated its participation in World War II and became the foremost four-wheel drive vehicle of the Allied Forces. The Jeep is shown being driven by a soldier and the candy once sat beneath the floorboards held in by a paper label.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:1-11/16" height and 4-5/16" width and 1-11/16" depth.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Glass.
MARKINGS:Willys JEEP on sides and J. H. MILLSTEIN CO. PATENT PENDING on bottom.
