ARTIFACT: Great vintage circa 1902 Teddy Roosevelt Teddy Bear button in gilt brass and painted tin. The button features the iconic teddy bear from the campaign in gilt brass in high relief detail, the bear is surrounded by painted tin and encased in a steel button.

VINTAGE: Circa 1902

SIZE: Approximately ¾" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, painted tin, steel

ATTACHMENT: Button hole - to be sewn on.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a political collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEX15 LEGX12/15

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The button shows minor to moderate wear, oxidation to the reverse, much of the painted and gilt details remain intact.
