Great US 9th Air Force Sweetheart Pin Made in England from Sterling Silver

This is a great United States 9th Air Force sweetheart pin made of sterling silver in England. The pin is a has a tiered bar under which hang a star and a wing bearing a number 9 in brilliant crimson and gold enamel.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 1-1/8" width and 1-1/2" length.

Sterling silver with enamel.

Horizontal kick pin with "C" catch.
