ARTIFACT:

This is a great theatre-Made World War II Royal Air Force (RAF) sweetheart wing. The wing was made in the Pacific Theatre/Asia, and is made of aircraft plexiglass.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

About 2-3/4" in width by 5/8" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Aircraft plexiglass, steel pin.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with a "C" catch.

MARKINGS:

None.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a Great Britain and Commonwealth collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.

CONDITION:

7 (Very Fine): There is some minor wear to the plexiglass but the "C" catch is bent. VCJL99 LIEX6/13
