Great Ornate Early WWII "Serving Our Country" Son-in-Service Pin

This is a great, ornate son-in-service pin from early World War II. The enameled single star bar sits within a scrolled frame. The top of the pin reads SERVING OUR COUNTRY. Even the suspension loop has small engraved details.

Circa early World War II.

Approximately 2" in height and 1" in width.

Gilt brass, enamel.

Horizontal safety-style pin with saddle, suspension loop.
