This is a great Old West (1890s) Deputy United States Marshal badge by Adams Stamp & Stationery from St. Louis. The badge shows an eagle at top and a wreathed shield that reads DEPUTY U.S. MARSHAL.
VINTAGE:Circa 1890s.
SIZE:1-3/4" height and 1-5/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass with black painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:ADAMS S&S CO. ST LOUIS stamped twice.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine): Badge shows moderate wear and tarnish and most of the painted lettering is worn away.
