This is a Great Old West ca 1910's Lyon County Nevada 5 Point Star Constable Badge by Northwestern Stamp Works.
Bordering on Carson City, and Storey County of Virginia City fame, in the heart of Nevada mining country. A bit diminutive, at 2" in height x 2" in width, but, as the x000D
image attached (Opium Den Raid early 00's Goldfield Nevada, note 3 constables x000D
at center wearing similar sized badges) shows the style worn by Constables at x000D
the time.
Circa 1910's.
SIZE:Approximately 2" in height x 2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel with painted letter.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:"NORTHWESTERN STAMP WORKS ST. PAUL, MINN."
