This is a Great Old, Well Carried Circa 1930 Los Angeles California Police Captain of Detectives Badge by Carl Entenmann. The badge weighs in at a hefty 2.7oz / 76g. Large, full size badge, appears to have seen a lot of  wallet carry, as front details are well worn through on high points and perimeter. Has a great "been there" look.

Circa 1930.

Approximately 3-3/8" in height x 2-7/16" in width.

Gold-plated brass with hard-fired blue enamel.

Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch.
