Great Old 1940s-50s Humboldt Co CA Deputy Sheriff Badge 6 pt Star with Huge Ball Tips by LAS&S

This is a Great Old 1940's - 1950's Humboldt County California Deputy Sheriff Badge 6 pot Star with Huge Ball Tips by LAS&S Los Angeles Stamp & Stationery.

1940's - 1950's.

Approximately 2-3/4" in height x 2-3/8" in width.

Gold -plated brass and gold-plated nickel, and hard fired blue enamel.

Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch.

6+ (Fine): The badge was probably all gold plated at one time, but it saw a lot of use and it was worn and polished off.. , There is enamel damage, and then some enamel repairs that look like they may be from the period of wear just to not make the badge look quite as salty as it really is...
