Description
Great, old 1920's General Electric original brass fan. This example is in beautiful condition with four brass fan blades encased by a steel 'wire' guard that features a painted brass center with the company initials: "GE" in raised lettering. The body of the fan is dark green, painted steel and features brass screws and embellishments. The solid steel base shows a brass plate that reads: "OFF, HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW" and shows various voltage and serial numbers. The original cord has been replaced.

SIZE:Approximately Fan: 13-1/8" in diameter; Blades: 5-3/8" x 2-7/8" (widest point); Body: 17-1/4" in height (including arms that affix front blade guard, 12" body only) 5" wide (top), 7" in diameter (base), fan weighs approximately 18 lbs.

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): The fan shows minor to moderate wear, cord is a new replacement, light oxidation to brass fan blades, a couple of small spots of paint missing from reverse blade guard, nearly all the painted details remain intact, brass has handsome patina.
