Great Old 1860's - 1870's Manchester New Hampshire Police Octagon Badge

ARTIFACT:

This is a Great Old 1860's - 1870's Manchester New Hampshire Police Octagon Badge. Similar construction to an 1864 Dated Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Badge I have in my own Collection. Only Manchester Badge I have seen made like this.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1860's - 1870's.

SIZE:

Approximately 2" in height x 2" in width. 

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated nickel with brass pin.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical one piece pin.

CONDITION:

7- (Very Fine-): The badge shows moderate wear, black paint on the lettering worn out, expected due to its age, otherwise very fine condition.
