ARTIFACT: Great, early circa 1900's lithograph candy tin for Whitman's Super Extra Marshmallow Drops by Mersereau Lithographs. The lid of the tin reads: "SUPER EXTRA MARSHMALLOW DROPS" in a whimsical font surrounded by a scene of flying cranes and plant life.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1900's

SIZE: Approximately 6" x 4" x 2 ½"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Lithographed tin.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: "THE MERSEREAU MFG. CO. BOXES BROOKLYN, N.Y." on lid

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine—Excellent): The tin shows minor to moderate wear, mostly to the interior, nearly all of the lithograph details remain fully intact.
