ARTIFACT: This is a Great Ca 1920 American Railway Express Special Officer Badge #8. This Badge was Made in, and Used in, the Philadelphia area as is evident by the Philadelphia Seal on Front and the Philadelphia Maker W.M.Davey & Son. On Back Great, Low Number.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/8" in height X 1-13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated nickel with painted letter.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with catch.

MARKINGS: "WM.DAVEY & SON PHILA."

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, most of painted detail remain intact, overall excellent condition.
