This is a Great Circa 1919's Los Angeles Company California  Deputy Sheriff 6point Star Badge with Early Chipron Stamp Company Maker Mark.

Circa 1910's.

Approximately 2-1/8" x 1-7/8".

Nickel plated nickel, black paint.

Horizontal "safety" type pin.

8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, heavy tarnish on reverse, but does not detract, much of the nickel plated and painted details remain overall intact. Bottom ball tip appears to have been replaced during the period of use by a lead repair.
