ARTIFACT: This is a Great circa 1910 Old West Tripp County South Dakota Deputy Sheriff Badge. Tripp County Started to be developed in 1909, and through the early 1910's experienced the types of vices, Rustling, Gunfights, Gambling, that other "Old West" settlements experienced in the decades prior.

VINTAGE: Circa 1910.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated nickel with painted letter.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin with oval saddle.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a western and lawman badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBCJM22 LADGEX11/06/22

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent): The badge shows minor wear, and duty wone great patina.
