This is a great circa 1950s five year safe driver pin for George F. Alger Company, a trucking line. The pin advertises the company as "The Line of Champions" and shows a giant man with a steering wheel towering over a truck. The pin is gold-filled and has enameled lettering.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 13/16" in height and 5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-filled, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:1/10 (10K G.F. worn away) and unreadable maker mark.
