ARTIFACT: This is a great circa 1950s five year safe driver pin for George F. Alger Company, a trucking line. The pin advertises the company as "The Line of Champions" and shows a giant man with a steering wheel towering over a truck. The pin is gold-filled and has enameled lettering.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 13/16" in height and 5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-filled, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: 1/10 (10K G.F. worn away) and unreadable maker mark.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a trucking company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX13 LHEX1/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin has some light wear only.
