Great 1950's - 60's Chatham, Cape Cod, Massachusetts Special Police Park Department badge. The center of the badge displays the Massachusetts State Seal in nice raised detail, and surrounding it reads: POLICE PARK DEPT. CHATHAM CAPE COD". An eagle sits atop the badge with a scroll in its beak that reads: "SPECIAL".

Circa 1950's – 1960's.

Approximately 2 -3/4" x 1-3/4".

Chrome plated brass with black painted details.

Vertical pin with drop in locking swivel catch.

7 (Very Fine): Badge shows minor to moderate wear, there is a spot of heavy wear where it reads: "SPECIAL" (see photo), much the plating and painted details remain intact.
