Description
This is a great 1943 named safe driver award badge from Hoffman Beverage Company of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The badge is in sterling silver and was made by Whitehead & Hoag of Newark, New Jersey. The award was given to employee F. Munley for 4 ½ years of safe driving. The Hoffman Beverage Company opened in 1919 and is still in business.
VINTAGE:Circa 1943.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
