This is a great Art Deco seaplane desk model, and could possibly be related to the Schneider Trophy. The modeal appears to be a Supermarine, the predecessor to the Spitfire. The very sleek plane sits on a handsome black marble base and its propeller spins.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:2-3/8" in height and 3-1/8" in width and 3-3/8" in depth.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass on marble with felted bottom.
