ARTIFACT: This is a Great 1920's Humboldt County California Special Deputy Sheriff "Baseball" Style 6 Point Star with EarlyEd Jones Maker Mark. This is a beauty. Looks to have been re-plated in the 30's during the period of use, with the "blue"chrome from that period. So we'll call it chrome plated nickel plated nickel, but it probably started its life as nickel plated nickel.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-5/8" in height x 2-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Blue Chrome plated nickel plated nickel with painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick type pin with forked locking catch.

MARKINGS: "ED JONES DAKLAND CAL."

ITEM NOTES: This is from a western and lawman badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TRBJJX18 TRVGEJX LHEJX08/02/20

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent): This is a beauty. Looks to have been re-plated in the 30's during the period of use, with the "blue" chrome from that period. So we'll call it chrome plated nickel plated nickel, but it probably started its life as nickel plated nickel.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
