Great 1890s Old West Deputy Sheriff Stock Badge with Very Unique Lettering

This is a great circa 1890s Old West "stock" shield-shaped deputy sheriff badge. This smaller-sized badge has some very unique lettering: the words are on a slant between some engraved decorative embellishments.

Circa 1890s.

Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 1-7/16" in width.

Nickel plated brass.

Vertical safety-style pin.
