ARTIFACT:

This is a Gorgeous 1930's USCG Officer Hat Badge in Silver & GF Unmarked, But Most Likely Blackington. On a well-worn remnant of the cup Band. Silver Content Marks Appear to be those used by Blackinton was well-known for NOT Marking Much of their production.

VINTAGE:

1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 3" in height x 4-1/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt sterling silver and sterling silver, and wool.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing and pin.
