ARTIFACT: This is a Beautiful Circa 1900 Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Member Lapel Badge with Original Box. The badge reads THE MASSACHUSETTS S.P.C.A. (A Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and shows an avenging angel staying the hand of a man who is beating a horse. The badge comes with its original box.

VINTAGE: Circa 1900s.

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-filled with red enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: PROPERTY OF THE MASSACHUSETTS SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRULETY TO ANIMALS and G.F.
