This is a framed circa 1930's - 1940's painting of a winter scene signed R. Nason. The painting's style is very folksy, and a lovely palette of crisp blues and wintry whites was borrowed. The scene may possibly depict Fort Pickering Light on Winter Island at Salem, Massachusetts, as the painting was purchased in the area.
Circa 1930's - 1940's.
Approximately 13-5/8" in height x 17-5/8" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Painted canvas, cardboard, wood, metal.
Two hooks, wire.
This is from a painting collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEX11 LCEJX11/11 psLCIEX05/21 SCIEX06/08/23
7+ (Very Fine+): The painting has some very small spots of light wear to the canvas and some spots on the frame.
GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
