ARTIFACT:
This is a fabulous 1930s Catalin plastic advertising bar topper with beer foam scraper for Beverwyck Beer-Ale from Albany, New York. The white frosted glass scraper reads BBBB BEVERWYCK BEER-ALE IRISH BRAND CREAM ALE and has warning on the reverse about the glass care. The glass is not flat on the bottom and rests in a green marbled base which itself resembles a bar.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1930s.
SIZE:
Glass: approximately 6 in height and 3-3/8 in diameter; base: approximately 3-1/8 in height and 6-1/2 in width.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
Catalin plastic, nickel-plated brass, frosted glass.
